Od 22. do 23.02.2021. godine održan je dvodnevni sastanak (Kick-off meeting) partnera na Erasmus + projektu pod nazivom: Development of Regional Joint Master Program in Maritime Environmental Protection and Management (MEP&M), koji će se realizovati na Pomorskom fakultetu Kotor i Institutu za biologiju mora u periodu od 15.01.2021. do 14.01.2023. godine. Projekat se finansira iz sredstava Izvršne agencije za edukaciju, audiovizuelnu politiku i kulturu Evropske unije (EACEA) u okviru ključne akcije KA2 – Saradnja za inovacije i razmjenu dobre prakseizgradnja kapaciteta u visokom obrazovanju.

Tokom prvog dana, pored dekana fakulteta prof. dr Špira Ivoševića, pozdravni govor je održala gospođa Danielle Picot, projektni oficir ispred EACEA, i gospođa Vanja Drljević, koordinator nacionalne Erasmus + kancelarije u Crnoj Gori. Predstavljeni su radni paketi, a takođe podproizvodi i izlazni rezultati koji se očekuju nakon trogodišnje realizacije projekta. Drugog dana je bilo riječi o tehničkom dijelu implementacije aktivnosti na projektu, gdje su prikazane predviđeni diseminacioni koraci ka boljoj prezentaciji novog akreditovanog studijskog programa. Uz adekvatan projektni i finansijski menadžment, partnerima je omogućeno da na dnevnom nivou upravljaju projektom i odlučuju o pravcima razvoja zajedničkog cilja, a to je stvaranje uslova za akreditovanje zajedničkog regionalnog studijskog programa na engleskom jeziku Univerziteta Crne Gore, Pomorskog fakulteta Kotor, Aleksander Moisiu Univerziteta iz Drača i Univerziteta u Valoni ‘Ismail Qemali’ iz Albanije.

Na događaju su učestvovali predstavnici drugih partnerskih institucija/organizacija na projektu: Aleksander Moisiu Univerzitet iz Drača, Univerzitet u Valoni ‘Ismail Qemali’ i Uprava za pomorstvo iz Albanije, Univerzitet u Ljubljani (Slovenija), Univerzitet u Kadizu (Španija), Univerzitet Côte d’Azur (Francuska), kao i Agencija za zaštitu prirode i životne sredine i NVO Eko Centar Delfin iz Crne Gore.

Univerzitet Crne Gore, Pomorski fakultet Kotor je koordinatorska institucija na ovom projektu.

The first meeting of partners on the MEP&M project

From 22nd to 23rd February 2021, a two-day meeting (Kick-off meeting) of partners on the Erasmus + project entitled: Development of Regional Joint Master Program in Maritime Environmental Protection and Management (MEP&M) was held. The project will last three years. It is funded by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the key action KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practice – Capacity Building in the field of Higher education.

During the first day, the dean of the faculty Prof. Dr. Špiro Ivošević gave a welcome speech as well as Mrs Danielle Picot, Project Officer on behalf of the EACEA, and Mrs Vanja Drljević, National Erasmus + Coordinator in Montenegro. Work packages were presented, as well as deliverables and outputs expected after three years of project implementation. On the second day, the participants talked about the technical part of the implementation of activities on the project, where the planned dissemination steps towards a better presentation of the accredited study program were presented. With adequate project and financial management, partners are enabled to manage the project daily and decide on the development of a common goal, which is to create conditions for accreditation of a joint regional study program in the English language of the University of Montenegro, Faculty of Maritime Studies, Kotor, Aleksander Moisiu University of Durres and University ‘Ismail Qemali’ Vlore from Albania.

The meeting was attended by the team members of the partners’ institution/organizations: the Aleksander Moisiu University of Durres, University ‘Ismail Qemali’ Vlore, University of Ljubljana, Université Côte d’Azur, University of Cadiz, General Maritime Directorate, Nature and Environmental Protection Agency, and Ecological Center DOLPHIN.

The Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor of the University of Montenegro is the lead institution in the project.
